We provide pet boarding at anytime for all of your pets, large or small. There are many large runs to accommodate large dogs. We also offer multiple kitty condos for your kitty in a seperate quiet cat boarding room. 

 

We are able to give medications and any other special care your pet may require. If your pet should become ill, we have access to a licensed veterinarian that is able to care for you pet.

 

Boarding includes a comfy blanket, food, and two walks outside, morning and evening. Pets are typically fed and watered twice a day, but can be fed any number of times to fit the pets normal schedule.

 

We offer a few extras to make your pet more happy while staying with us at an additional cost. One of them is an extra walk, normally done around noon. We take the pet into the enclosed yard and walk around with them for a couple of minutes. This is in addition to the two walks they already receive, morning and evening.

 

Another extra that we offer is playtime. We take the pet into a large room where we let them off leash to play or just be loved on. We have stuffed toys and balls to play with or we can just sit and pet the animal if that is what they prefer. We cater to your pets wants or needs.

 

We also offer bathing before the pet goes home. Included in the bath is nail trimming, express anal glands and ear cleaning.

 

We are now offering a skype visit with your pet while you are away. A 5-10 minute session with your pet to see how they are doing and talk to them.

Clayview Animal Clinic is not responsible for small toys or chew bones left with the animals.
Vaccinations:
All animals must be vaccinated to board with us. If you cannnot provide written proof that these vaccines are current, they will be administered at your cost. Dogs must have distemper, lepto, rabies, and bordetella. Cats must have distemper and rabies.

Boarding times:
Boarding begins on the day the pet enters the hospital regardless of the time of day. The pet must be picked up before 9 am on the day it is to be released in order not to be charged for that day. We open at 7:30 am, please allow some time when picking up your pet. There may be other people ahead of you which can result in a short wait. If there is an emergency with your pet and you cannot be reached, the veterinarian on duty has permission to treat your animal as he or she deems necessary, at your expense until you can be reached.

Flea free environment:
We strive to maintain a flea free environment at Clayview Animal Clinic. If any fleas are found on your pet, we will apply a flea control product at your expense. If you would like one applied as a precaution, please ask the receptionist.

We do offer capstar upon discharge at a charge of $5.50 for 0-25 lbs and $6.00 for over 25 lbs
